TRAINING
In a profession in which success is based on the quality of human resources, investing in professional development is key.
We therefore devote much energy to training and updating the knowledge of the Firm's staff.
Our multi-faceted professional development and training program is both demanding and complete.
Various elements of our training program
- We rely on close supervision, regular feedback and diverse and stimulating work and projects
- Once a month, a member of the ACTH team leads a training session on current developments in accounting, auditing or taxation, depending on the time of year
- In September of each year, each partner is invited to prepare a yearly training program for each of the members of his/her team. This plan is developed based on the strengths and weaknesses of the staff member and takes into account the specific needs of the team and the Firm. Team members then register for courses offered by recognized organizations (OCAQ, CICA, APFF, universities)
- Each year, we devote two full days to updating our knowledge base through training sessions provided by members of the Firms and/or various outside specialists
- During the winter leading up to the UFE examinations, we meet with each student to determine his/her specific needs and the parameters of the individual coaching he/she will be provided with during his/her summer study leave. A member of the Firm, usually a recent CA, is then assigned to the student to help him/her through the various steps leading to the UFE
