EXPECTATIONS AND PERFORMANCE REVIEWS

Our expectations are clearly defined. Each staff member receives a specific job description when he/she joins the Firm, at which time new employees are also provided with an orientation session during which they are informed about their workplace, what is expected of them and the Firm's policies.

The performance and professional development of staff members are monitored and measured on an ongoing basis, providing each member a clear sense of his/her responsibilities.

Performance reviews are used as a basis for setting compensation and determining promotions. Reviews are performed after major engagements (or a number of smaller ones) as well as on an annual basis. Performance reviews are used to:

  • Comment on the staff member's performance
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for both personal development and career advancement
  • Set both short- and long-term professional goals
  • Provide a basis for awarding promotions

Performance reviews represent a valuable opportunity to reflect on past performance and ensure individual goals and objectives are taken into account.
